Palak/Spinach - 2 bundles
Paneer(cut into cubes) - 200 gm
Onion - 2 nos
(chopped)
Garlic pods - 5 - 6 nos
Ginger - 1/2 inch piece
Green chilly - 1 no
Cumin seeds(Jeerakam) - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 2 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
Tomato - 2 nos
(chopped)
Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
Milk - 1/4 cup
Kasoori methi - 2 tbsp
Oil - 1 tbsp
Salt - As reqd
1)In a microproof deep bowl, put oil, cumin seeds, ginger, garlic, green chillies, onion, 2 tsp coriander powder and garam masala powder and mix well.
2)Microwave for 5 mins.
3)Remove and to the same bowl add tomatoes, cleaned palak and kasoori methi. Mix well & microwave for 8 mins.
4)Cool the palak & blend it with 1/2 cup water.
5)Put this palak puree into the same microproof dish & add red chilli powder, paneer, salt, 1/4 cup milk and 1/4 cup water. Mix well & microwave for 5 mins.
:- Serve hot.
